FCL / LCL / CONSOLIDATION
Start with how your cargo moves.
01 / FROM THE LOADING FLOOR
A closer look. How cargo gets loaded.
Loading, positioning and label checks. Three separate field records show the handling behind a shipment.

FCL or LCL: where do we start?
Start with package dimensions, quantity, packaging, ready date and delivery address. FCL and LCL have different cost components and handling steps; volume alone is not enough.
Can goods from several suppliers ship together?
List supplier locations, ready dates and packing details, then agree the consolidation point and acceptable wait. Record missing cargo, packing differences and inspection needs separately.
What changes between port and door quotes?
Check who handles pickup, storage, loading, transport, destination handling, clearance and delivery—and what is included. List taxes and special handling separately.
AT DESTINATION / FIELD RECORDS
The view from destination.
Opening, unloading and transfer. See the handling after arrival, as well as the work at origin.
Before a door quote, check the receiving setup.
No forklift at the receiving address?
Tell us whether delivery is to a warehouse, shop, residence or jobsite, with dock access, equipment and vehicle restrictions. Confirm liftgate needs, unloading labour, appointments and waiting time; door delivery does not by itself define indoor placement.
What should I check before collecting cargo?
Confirm the collection address, release notice, appointment requirements and charges. Check final dimensions, weight, vehicle capacity and loading arrangements, including your own vehicle, labour and time in the comparison.
02 / LCL & CONSOLIDATION
Different packages. Different loading decisions.
Cartons, bags, pallets and crates need more than a total-volume figure. Share the packing format and individual dimensions early.
03 / LOAD PLANNING
Volume fits. Does the cargo?
Package dimensions, orientation and cargo mix affect what fits. Turn the packing list into a loading plan before dispatch.
